A different reviewer wrote that this was not a reference book. I disagree. The purpose of a text book is to thoroughly educate a novice on a specific topic. This book is extremely informative. I purchased the paperback edition. This book is well worth the money. This is the book that you want to buy. Your search is over. The information is clear and concise, and the codes are cited then translated into plain English. I was using this to familiarize myself with codes for Home Inspection and it was right on the money. I learned a ton of useful safety information and if I ever need to wire something up myself, I have a great reference with specific examples.
