The protein content speaks for itself. This is a great flake food, and my guppies love it. The price is right for the big bottle you get. Highly recommended.

My discus, young angelfish, and even fish that are already adult love this food. Not to say flake will ever replace fresh foods like beef heart or actual brine shrimp but this actually is worlds better than just giving the mixed generic "tropical flakes" alone especially if you actually keep fish that are more carnivorous than omnivorous. The protein level is great. When I cant feed fresh these flakes and freeze dried California blackworms along with hikari blood worms for smaller fish are my go-tos. Keeps my fish big and fat and healthy. Watching finicky fish go nuts for this is worth every penny and actually you get a TON of food the can is BIG so you will be tempted to feed your fish often. Just make sure to siphon any uneaten food out after a few mins or only feed what they will eat , or you'll be looking at a mess at least as far as your water quality is concerned.

I wanted to upgrade my fishes current food since they were store brand and I wanted to better my fishes food. I already knew that Ocean Nutrition makes some wonderful fish food with great ingredients. First time I put this food in the tank they swarm right to the surface and started eating. They were becoming more interested in feeding time, and no food was wasted the first time feeding this. This is a very big jar of fish food so I probably won't be buying any more anytime soon, this food should last me 4 months or even longer. Received a jar with seal that is only partially sealed with some flakes scattered outside of the jar. When I peal open the seal, it is obvious that part of it wasn't sealed at all. Unclear if fish will like it yet. But the seal definitely indicate a quality issue.

I used to mess with frozen mysis. When the last seahorse died I remembered how successful I was with this flake years ago and decided to try it again. It took the fish 2 days to take to it, having been spoiled on frozen food, but now they love it. Gets them in a feeding frenzy every time. Some inverts love it, others don't. My arrow crab in my refugium has yet to take to any flake or fish pellet. The shrimp seem to like it. Since it was engineered for fish and not for crabs and the manufacturer doesn't claim it's for crabs, I can't fault Ocean Nutrition but I still wish my arrow crab would eat it.
