With a mounting channel designed to fit onto a straight trailer tongue, the Posi-Lock coupler is easy to install. The lockable latch mechanism on CURT Posi-Lock couplers is easy to operate and adjusts by tightening or loosening a simple bolt. This was well made and strong. It is a Curt, so if I need to replace the latch some day I can. The only issue I had was a misalignment between one set of the mounting holes and the holes in my trailer tongue. In all fairness the misalignment of the holes could be because of my trailer, not necessarily the hitch. No problem, put in the first bolts then used the hitch holes as guides to drill new holes in the tongue.
