When you are done building up you put in a finish or wax included resin. **Q: How much does it shrink?** A: TotalBoat Polyester Resin shrinks a little as does all brands of polyester resin. Depending on your project, the odds are high that it is negligible and won't affect the outcome. Epoxy resins shrink less. **Q: I poured 12oz in a vase encapsulating something and it didn’t dry clear like water. It’s still purple after 20 hrs. What did I do wrong?** A: You used the wrong resin. This is not casting resin, surfboard resin or tabletop resin. A better choice would have been an epoxy, casting resin.
