Love this product
I really like this GPS device. A friend had a Bushnell version on his car and it was so much more convenient than using the optical rangefinder. I bought this Swami as it was cheaper than the Bushnell and Izzo makes good products. I’ve found it accurate and easy to read. The magnet is strong and kept it well attached to the cart. The battery charge will carry you thru two rounds. One tip - Buy the brightest color available. The black blends into the cart posts and makes it easier to miss removing it after play. I have the blue and would have gotten the yellow had it been available.

Horrible product and description
I had the original Izzo Swani. I purchased the Swami 7000i. It's a horrible product, not very user friendly, it provides less information than the original, has wrong course information for courses I've played. The charge is supposed to last 2 rounds. Unless it's 9 holes it needs charged or plugged in. I'd still be using the original but it used magnetic charging and it was horrible.

Top Notch
Love this thing. Easy to use, durable, long battery life. I have no issues with connecting it. Fits in my bag with no problem and I love that I can slap it on the golf cart and take it off to get a better read.

Should have heeded the poor battery life reviews.
This product has some nice features and some challenges. Unfortunately I did not get enough golf in to truly evaluate it until it was too late to return. The display is bright and the multi color option is nice. Unfortunately it's not the most intuitive to work with (changing golf holes and keeping score) but I should have heeded the review warnings regarding the battery life. The last time is used the unit it was out of battery after 9 holes. Sadly I stuck with it now.

Played for hours
Charged it up and played 2 rounds without any issues. Seems very accurate and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Not bad, not good and slipping.
I've had the device for about 6 weeks. Overall I like the device, but shortly after the return window closed it developed some issues. 1. The distance reset button for measuring the length of a hit no longer works. 2. It occasionally gets lost moving from the green to the next tee box. 3. Sometimes it doesn't move from hole 9 to 10 when making the turn, and it takes a couple of tries to make the transition. 4. Twice it has switched from yards to meters and I have no idea why. 5. This may be a me problem, but sometimes I can't get the course obstacles to work. I bought this device because it has features my Golf Buddy doesn't have. Right now my Golf Buddy has regained it's position as my preferred device. I rarely have any trouble with it.

Nice Rangefinder
A nice rangefinder. Works well. Took a long time to connect to GPS and find course. Hard to adjust when there were more than two nines or the order of nines was reversed. Had the same problem most rangefinders have. If you leave it on the cart - you lose it. Wish they would invent one that beeps at you.

Battery won’t charge
Caution. I’m not a daily golfer so I haven’t had a long time to use this. I’ve had it 2 months. It worked great the first time, but the second time I used it, I had charged it over night and it lasted 5 min. I didn’t even get a chance to tee off. It might be a one off problem, but trying to get assistance was a waste. All the chatbot told me is it’s past its warranty to return. Not what I call service. I really don’t like to give bad reviews, but I also like to warn people before they make a purchase. EDIT: after a last ditch effort, I was able to get the battery charged, which lasted for my last round. I do like the functionality of the tool, but still disappointed in my initial inquiry and lack of help.

A very useless piece of junk
Extremely disappointing. Takes a long time to find the course I am on. Constantly skips to nearby fairways. Crashes completely on occasion and gives absolute rubbish distances halfway through a round. When I set it back to the correct fairway, it is still giving false distances. The only thing that gets it back on track is a reboot, then a little while later the circus starts again.

Battery charge drains quicker than mentioned
Item works perfectly, takes a minute or 2 to find the course desired. Nice big color numbers on screen which is touch screen also. The only minor negative i would have is that the charge on the unit does not last 16 hours like mention in the product description. I might get around 12-14 out of it. (does not take long to charge). Update on Sept2: battery barely last 1 round of golf 4 hrs max.
