Viper 787 Electronic Dartboard, Ultra Thin Spider for Increased Scoring Area, Free Floating Segments, Locking Segment Holes for Fewer Bounceouts, Automatic Scoring

This is a nice playing board, tolerates darts of different weights very well, very few bounce outs and overall quite good. Nice features like single player practice and the ability to see the value that darts land on as you throw and your opponents score on one display. We like to play with a double "BULL" option and many boards, especially lower priced ones do not support this option. We have this mounted to a door in our basement family room and the ability to run on Battery Only really cleans up the installation and appearance. Overall, we are very happy with this product. The darts that come with board will get you started just fine but barely a step above Bar Darts. Many games to choose from, but we almost always play 501 and it scores accurately.

I had a magnetic dart board for years that hung in our game room that nobody would play because nobody knew how. Electronic dart boards are great because they give you several options of games and they keep score for you. The darts sometimes pop out but it's usually when I throw too soft or put too much arc on my throw. You may need to practice where to grip your dart when throwing to make sure your darts stick more successfully. The only complaint I have is that I wish the LED display was brighter or more colorful.

The Viper 787 is a good quality board. It has proven to be precise in scoring. We never encountered any issues with inconsistency in scoring. Nor did we encountered any incorrectly registered hits. The board doesn't count sloppy shots either which is a plus. Some of the other boards in this price range will count a dart hitting a number wedge side ways or as the dart flops down the board. The Viper 787 doesn't count those kinds of hits. The score board has a nice layout. We really like the way the scores are tracked on the LCD. We also really like the coloring on this board and found it was easier to see where we wanted to aim over the standard red and black boards. The Viper 787 is also a tournament size board which is hard to find in this price range. The Viper 787 has to be broken in so be sure to use the Viper Tufflex II 2BA Thread Soft Tip Dart Points. Other brand dart tips were harder to get out and if you twist them out enough times the tips break off and get stuck. I would advise that you change your dart tips often until the board is broken in. Or you will end with tips stuck in the board. That was the main issue we ran into while using non-Viper tips on this board. When the first tip broke off we started changing the tips more often and that worked. The Viper 787 audio is really hard to hear and if you have any background noise, such as the radio, or a blue tooth speaker going, you won't be able to hear it at all. The Low audio is one of things we were most disappointment in. The Viper 787 LCD is hard to see from the throw line - something we have found to be an issue with most electronic dart boards in this price range. However unlike most of the other boards. The Viper 787 has a terrific score display. We like the way it tracks each players scoring and you can see exactly where you are at in the game as you can see your score and your opponents score easily in the display. Overall this a great board for the price - probably just as good as some of the more expensive board. I would not hesitate to purchase this board again. In fact I bought my daughter one.

It took a little while to understand how to set up the specific game you desire to play, especially if you want to start over, or play again. But it's very simple. We have ours outdoor, and it seems to be weather-proof. We've used this dart board for neighborhood gatherings as well as family fun. In fact, our nephew purchased one for his family after visiting. Only criticism is that the bottom left corner where the game selection and scoreboard is, will smash if hit with a dart. It's ok, but definitely evident of a bad throw. LOL!

We play almost every day, I'm on my second set of batteries, and have had no issues with failed scoring. However, some of the buttons like the bounce out or the instant 301 no longer function, and the Power button needs to be pressed in a specific way to get it to work.

I bought this board for my man cave. I've been using it for 3 weeks and have thrown a good amount of darts. The board has very little bounce out. Displays are easy to read. Love the fact that it has a 4 player screen for scoring. Most of the boards I looked at only have 2 player screens so this was a big plus for me! I have noticed that sometimes it does not register a dart accurately but this is very rare. I'd say maybe 1 out of 50 darts thrown. Positive thing is it has an eliminate dart score button to back the last thrown dart out if it does register incorrectly. All in all I have to say I am very happy with the board and would recommend it! You can't beat it for the price! And as with any board the darts that come with are not the greatest. You will need to buy some better quality darts. But, if you have kids like my wife and I do they come in handy for them to use so they don't tear up your good darts! :) Also, it does not come with a power cord which is no big deal for me cause I don't have an outlet where I have it hung. Power cords are not a big investment if one is needed so don't let that affect your decision to buy this board.

Easy to install/ uninstall outside. Precise but the darts with the board feel kinda cheap but I was expecting it. Will buy better one

I can definitely recommend this board. It works great, easy to use menus and unlike the previous cheap unicorn board I purchased, bounce outs are very rare rather than the norm. I don’t use the darts that came with it as I have my red dragons, but they are expected to be replaced.

Every single Dart Flight was received broken...So cannot use properly
