Cuetec Billiard/Pool Cue Accessory: Bowtie 3-in-1 Billiard Cue Tip Tool

So I shoot pool, otherwise, why in the world would I buy this. That's not a question. I know it sounds like one, it's rhetorical. So when I got it, I went to shoot pool with my new Cuetec cues, it was time to get some new ones anyhow. The day I got it: I shot the best game of pool in my life. In-fact, I ran 7 tables in a row not missing a shot. I bought a new car and got a killer deal on it out of nowhere. I had the best burger I've ever had in my life. I drank 9 glasses of fine beer and didn't even get drunk. I met a beautiful & sweet girl. And had I played the lotto, I'm certain that I'd have won. Now, I never said this product had ANYTHING to do with it, I just stated that the day I got it my life changed. You be the determinant of whether or not it had anything to do with this Cuetec cue shaper. But I'll tell you this one thing for certain. The Cuetec cue shaper just WORKS and it works WELL. Better than any other ones I've previously had, and easier too, AND it has more capabilities all wrapped up into a nice, neat, retro looking design. And it's SOLID, most definitely NOT a cheaply-made product at all. BUY THIS, perhaps your life will change, too. :-)

There's no need to make this a long, drawn out review in my opinion. So, straight to the point, this item is truly one of the most absolutely perfect accessories for any truly determined pool player to own. In my honest opinion, no player out there in the world should be without one of these fantastic little gadgets stuffed away in your cue case somewhere. It does basically everything you could ever need really for maintaining the integrity of your cue tip, without having to pay for a professional to recondition it each time around. I have owned 3 of these over the course of MANY years, and still to this day use mine at least once a week, EVERY week, on average. Hence, you cannot possibly go wrong in purchasing one of these items, and I have complete confidence in the fact that you will be pleasantly surprised just how often you end up finding yourself using it. :)

I play pool rather frequently and was introduced to this tool by a friend of my, a fellow pool player. I have never been dissapointed with it! I have seen many other tip tools around the pool hall and this is the best quality one I have seen. The fact that it is metal and has a wonderful compact design puts it way above the junky plastic ones with silly sand paper inserts. It is worth your money! I have had it for years and it has never worn out. It works like the first day I got it. I have also gotten one for my boyfriend and he has nothing but positives to say as well.

I ordered the "old" style and it came as the "new" style. No big deal. Reason for 4 stars, the "shaper" is very rough, to the point that it kind of unevenly shapes your tip. I actually just use the "scuff" to shape the tip. It appears to be a dime roundness.

To play pool these are absolutely essential. I had an old one that is no longer made that worked well but this one works great. Why do you need to shape a cue tip? In order to apply english the tip must have the proper shape. If the tip is flat (which most tips are) then the cue pushes the ball rather then striking it. I tried drawing a ball back before shaping and it barely moved, after shaping it came back half the table. I am no pool expert but have enjoyed the game since I was a kid and highly recommend this for anyone who is having trouble with spin.

Perfect for the pool player

Does a nice job of shaping the cue

I was looking for a replacement shaper and scuffed and this product hit the target! Great functionality and design! 10/10 would order again!

Good quality feels solid serves its purpose

I was aware of this product for quite some time now, and I had finally had the chance to purchaseone. I was miscueing a lot, after re-shaping and scuffing the tip with this tool, my cueing improved, I was able to effectively to use draw and English very well, definitely a very handy tool to have and keep around. It is simple to use, thanks cuetec, great product.

Muy buena calidad para el precio. Es una herramienta infaltable en el estuche de cualquier que guste de jugar billar y a un precio muy bueno.

As a novice player I found it really hard to shape a new cue tip when I had replaced it and by the time I’d achieved the shape I wanted the tip was almost gone lol! But with this tool I got the shaping done in no time and with no stress and also gave me more use out of my cue tips.

Must have. Works perfectly.
