I will agree that the picture is misleading and makes you think that there will be a shelf included - THERE IS NO SHELF!! Please do yourself a favor and order a shelf or two. Rack comes with a template for mounting which is helpful, but remember, this is a 19" rack, the screw holes on the back do not line up with studs, not a problem for me as we always mount this to plywood, however this could be an issue for a homeowner or installer without access to something sturdy to mount to. I find the template great, but you still need to install two shelfs on this when mounting it on the wall to make it square and level. I have found this unit to be sturdier than others and deeper than others. It allows for the installation of heavy equipment as well as a possible shelf mounted UPS. My customers really like the styling on the sides of the rack, I could care less, but have none the less been complimented on the design. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This rack is as sturdy as they come *by S***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 28, 2015* This rack is as sturdy as they come, it's pretty heavy considering how simple it is.Kendall Howard should be reprimanded though on the advertisement picture, as the displayed rack tray is NOT included. I knew this going in, but I can see how some people who don't research the hell out of their purchases can make this mistake.The openings on the side of this rack make accessing your ports or switches from behind manageable, even for the biggest of hands.Mounting hardware is included with the rack, and as others have pointed out, save the fold out instruction sheet, as the template for mounting holes is printed on the edges of the paper! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome home network rack *by Z***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2014* I love this rack, especially with the price made it very effective for my home use. I am using this rack to house my home networking and CATV headend. Some of you say that the rack isn't sturdy enough or or warps, well of course it isn't going to be completely rock solid, you should have expected that when you read the description listing it as two separate pieces! I have a different experience, I have all 12 slots of the rack loaded with gear including two cisco XL switches. It holds all of that weight with no problem, and I found that the more units are full, the more structurally sound it will be because you have the equipment holding it together. Installation was a breeze because the holes in the back are cut to line up perfectly with standard stud widths in most homes (and even easier with the included template for marking the holes.
