With the six hundred pounds capacity they are stable. As a cripple it's important for me to be able to move tables and benches easily. I can raise or lower the casters with my cane. They lock in place with ease. I can easily move this bench with one hand. Even when I have a couple hundred pounds of extra weight on the bench. Being able to move it with one hand makes it much safer for me. I'll be putting these casters on everything.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the minimum amount of space needed above the bracket for the handle to swing enough for the wheel to be disengaged?**
A: On mine, it rises about 3" above the top of the base plate when the leg is completely down.  In that position, the lever is roughly at a 45 degree angle (ie, not straight up).

**Q: What size bolts will fit in the screw holes?  I plan to mount the casters on metal legs.**
A: Use size #10 (3/16 inch) to fit existing holes. I did't have these screws on hand so I drilled the holes oversize for 1/4 inch. 2 on top and 2 on the bottom.

**Q: Can the kit be mounted on the inside of the legs? It will be out of the way and give max storage.**
A: The closer you mount the lifts to the center of gravity of the table, the more unstable it becomes.  The table is most stable when the lifts are mounted on the outside of the narrow dimension.  IOW, a 24x60 table will benefit most from mounting the lifts on the 24" axis, giving it about 32" wide stance while on the wheels.

**Q: When locked in the lift position, how far off the floor is the lifted item? In inched please.**
A: Instructions show 1" between bottom of bracket and bottom of table leg, and then if you look hard enough, you find 3/4" lift in the onscreen text.  Mine was different (do one and see if you get the same!):  2" distance from bracket bottom to leg bottom gives zero lift.  I installed mine 1.75" and got 1/4" lift:  perfect for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value and worked very well to move workbench

I was always moving my one workbench around and decided to try these casters. I really like these. It fit my application and now makes it so easy to move the bench. They are very sturdy - I looked at some others and these hold more weight than I needed but I was drawn to them. Only thing I would caution folks is when using the template to mount, make sure you do NOT put upside down. I see (or checked/tried) hole pattern and the bottom holes on brackets are different from top. It was easy to mark and install. I did however mark the bottom hole pattern on the bench leg after I centered it on the leg, then pre-drilled holes and mounted bracket. Then drilled pilot holes for top part of the mount and used screws provided. Worked very well. For company - future updates I would apply a means to attach each wheel to a bar or wood bar in order to raise both casters at the ends.... I found a place on youtube whereas someone did that and it looked really to use versus one at a time. Depending on the users application this configuration with a bar would be easy for heavy instances. All in all, great purchase.
