**Q: Just received and the food cup is so close to the edge - don’t these just take the mouses face off? They look wrong.**
A: Hi, yes the food cup is quite close to the edge, mice are greedy and tend to get close to any food source when eating, I havnt caught any mice as yet because the cat has always beaten me to it, i would imagine when the trap goes off with a snap it will grab the whole head and leave the body sticking out. It does go off with an incredible snap though.

**Q: Does this work on squirrels?**
A: don,t know, but great on small mouses [,i have my doubts on squirrels because of there size, they are a small trap]

**Q: Can I reuse these mouse traps?**
A: The simple answer is yes iv been using mine for 18 months when the mouse has been cought just press the setting to release the mouse dispose of it re bate the trap and its ready to catch another

**Q: Is there a trick to resetting them after they have snapped shut? They won't keep open anymore..**
A: To reset I’ve found the following methods useful. 1. Put the preferably baited trap on a flat hard surface and push down until it clicks and locks. 2. If 1. Doesn’t work then hold in the open position - carefully keeping fingers away from the business end - and ‘jiggle’ the underside of the locking lever Through the base of the trap until it engages on the bar. Sometimes it is a bit of a fiddle but worth it as the traps are effective - I’ve caught 9 mice in my outside store and sheds in 4 days!

This is a really well thought out mouse trap that has ironed out the problem of the wire traps from yesteryear. Gone are the problems of bending the wire back against the spring and hooking a wire through a loop, to set them (only to find they snap shut when you put them down). This is one that can be laid on the ground and then set easily, without touching the snappy end, you don’t touch the part of the trap where the mouse goes at all, so that is great.There is a clever baiting system as well. The bit that holds the bait unscrews from underneath the trap, put the bait in, then screws back in. I baited mine with peanut butter and caught one the first night.At the end of the trap there is a loop for you to tie some string to, this enables you to tie the string to something to stop the trap from being dragged away. Not by the mouse, he won’t be going anywhere.Disposing of the mouse is simple, you just squeeze together the opposite end to the mouse and it opens like a clothes peg, releasing the mouse.Definitely worth the money and is very effective.

These arrived early afternoon today, strait away I put some peanut butter into the bait cup, and placed them in the cupboard where the mice had been causing problems. Within two hours I'd caught two of the little blighters! Leaving them there overnight to see if I can get some more. They work superbly, and humanely.

These traps are well thought out in design. The removable bait tray minimises handling and risk of trapping fingers and the teeth all round ensure an efficient kill even with side entry of the pesky rodent. We had trouble getting one to stay open when set, but a bit of wiggling sorted that.We killed 4 in the first 4 nights and haven’t seen any more mice since.Overall an effective trap that is easy to set up if you follow the instructions.Update - one year on and 3 of the 4 traps have broken as the catch at the back has snapped off. Also many instances of food being eaten or trap being triggered without a mouse caught. Shame, but worked for a while and cheap.
