Great for kids with adult help and he loves that they're like the ones they use at school. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap but effective digital microscope *by B***T on 13 June 2019* I had a number of problems with the software, but these were resolved thanks to prompt and very helpful e-mail exchanges with Bysameyee. Full marks for customer service, full marks for ease of use, 4/5 for image quality but only 2/5 for ease of installation. In detail: I installed the software from the CD provided. The Amcap imaging software could not find the microscope; Windows 10 reported an unspecified problem with the device driver. Tried to re-install the software - no improvement. Eventually deleted the latest version of the driver (Glavcam) and installed an earlier version found on the Net. This worked and I was able to choose the microscope as the imaging device in Amcap and take photos. I then tried to install the Cooling Tech measurement software. This would not work at all at first because two required folders, Cap Picture and Cap Video, were not automatically created during the installation process. Having created these two folders manually I could get images and take photos, but I could not work out how to carry out the calibration process in order to measure the size of objects in the image. This was down to the poor quality of the translation of the instruction manual from Chinese. Bysameyee sent me a revised manual and I was eventually able to figure out the calibration process myself.
