  The top of this product can not be took off or opened.The battery slot for taking the battery is at the bottom of the product.

A: It is battery powered but also has a USB cord to plug into the wall. I’m not sure if it’s dangerous to keep on all the time. I wouldn’t think so

My 6 yr old son is on the autism spectrum and he is obsessed with tornadoes so he absolutely loved this! He runs it for hours so we’re obviously better off connecting it straight to the outlet than running it with batteries but when we go out he likes to take it and we run it with batteries. Only thing I didn’t like was that the gold paint on the top of the bullet was a little scratch off so the paint had peeled off a bit. It wasn’t bad enough for me to return it though, I’m just hoping the paint doesn’t continue peeling off. Besides that little chipped paint it is absolutely fascinating to watch as it rotates and changes colors.
