This pre-cooked pudding is designed for easy heating, allowing you to enjoy a rich and flavorful festive treat with minimal effort. ## Description Stuffed with raisins, sultanas, carrot, apple, mixed peel, dates, cherries, apricots, stem ginger, almonds, walnuts, spices and glugs of brandy & sherry, this is a very special Christmas pudding! This 1lb pud is perfect for 4-6 people. Cooking Instructions The Christmas pudding is pre-cooked but requires to be heated up. Remove the outer wrapping. Stand the pudding in the bottom of a large pan and add boiling water until it comes halfway up the pudding basin. Put the lid on the pan and simmer gently for 60 minutes, making sure that the water doesn’t completely evaporate. Remove from the pan and take off the plastic cover and remove the paper on top of the padding. Put a pre-warmed plate on top of the pudding basin, carefully invert the pudding to separate it from the plastic container. Optional: Garnish it with a sprig of holly with berries and serve. Good to serve with some vanilla ice cream or brandy butter on the side. Optional: Warm approx. ¼ cup of brandy. This was the BEST one I have ever had. As a child mom made her own, a long process, this was even better than hers, as my memory recalls, and no fuss. We fed it with rum, Meyer's Dark Jamaican, and I made rum butter to go with it. All agreed it was delicious. Will be ordering this brand again for sure.
