Are these plus size or not?** A: These are plus size pants, but there is a difference between the regular and "W" sizes. I own four pairs of the black in 20W, but whenever I've tried to order the navy in 20W, I've ended up with a 20 instead, and the fit in the hips and the length/height of the rise is not the same. If you have even slightly curvy hips, I'd recommend the W. **Q: Can you put them in the dryer?** A: I have not tried putting them in the dryer but I’m sure you could. The only thing you might have to consider is that the pants have a slight crease down the front and putting them in the dryer would probably release the crease. If you’re not a fan of creases or don’t care to have one, I’m sure frying them would be fine. I hang mine to dry and then steam them as needed. My navy slacks have held up very well over the past 6 months so far! **Q: What's the difference between 24Plus and 24W** A: They are the same. 24w is always a plus size **Q: Since length of 18w is an unknown, can someone tell me the width of the hem? my normal length is 31 and i know i will have to let out the hem.** A: I normally wear a 30-31" inseam and I have to hem at least three inches on these! If you’re wearing heels, which I don’t, they will drag on the ground. I found that I could roll the waistband over and then they are the right length. I might have to have them shortened but I’m leaving on a trip and no time now. As others have said, look at the size chart. The waist is stretchy so pay attention to the hip measurement. I usually wear a 20 W and in these an 18 fit well through the hip and waist. The pants are a nice material, wash well and I tumbled dry on low for a few minutes. From shipping wrinkles, I just needed to do a little touch up ironing.
