This package includes everything you will need for automating focus stacking with exception of the camera specific shutter cable. The shutter cable is the communication link between the camera and StackShot. StackShot is a completely configurable automated system for capturing images for focus stacking. The step size can be configured from 200mm (the overall length of the rail) to a minuscule 0.002mm (2um). **Q: which battery pack do you recomend?**
A: Li-Ion Battery - 5200mAHr  SKU: BAT_LI_5200_ASSY    I actually bought two of these - each lasts over 6-8 hours in the field.     Got it directly from Cognisis and also the battery holder on the controller.  Well worth it if you are not near direct electrical outlet.

**Q: What's in the box?  the rails, the controller, Li ion battery?**
A: The rails and controller are included and it is set up to run from plug-in power.  The Li ion battery for outside use is a separate purchase.
