I use them to make very fine strokes on canvas. They should work anywhere a brush and regular acrylics work. **Q: Does it work for shoes customization?** A: Yes, you can use on just about any surface that's printable (shoes, demin, rubber, leather, mirrors, glass, drinking glasses, mugs, backpacks, plastic, metal or any kind of water bottles, vinyl placements, smooth wood, rocks, etc etc etc). It's best to spray with clear outdoor arcyrilic spray if items will be outside. Once they dry over 24 hrs they're permanent. **Q: Can these markers be covered with epoxy resin?** A: Yes, that's not a problem to use with resin.
