Has anyone tested this case with wifi and bluetooth? Does the case prevent these radios from working?

I have a very similar case as this for my pi3 and I haven’t had any connection issues with Wifi or bt.

How much clearance is there (for a hat) between the plate on top of the pi and the top removable cover?

I can't give you a measurement in e.g. millimeters, because you gotta close the case together to measure the space. But it's enough for me to successfully install and run with the official Raspberry Pi PoE HAT, which is a pretty chunky one. (Not sure I recommend using the PoE HAT in this case, though, because the fan on the PoE HAT can't blow on the CPU directly, or vent out of the case. So one secondary-but-essential function of the HAT is pretty useless.)

Approximately what is the clearance between the top of the pi enclosure and the removable cover?

Almost zero. The tops of the screws do not touch the cover but there is basically no room between the HAT and the cover.

Does the new rpi 8gb fit?

Yes, all models of the Raspberry Pi 4 (1Gig, 2Gig, 4Gig, and 8Gig) fits in this case.
