I love my KetoSens ketone monitor. It is much more accurate than urine test strips, and virtually painless. The idea of sticking my finger every time I needed to check my ketones put me off for over a year. I broke down and ordered this monitor a few months ago, and haven’t looked back. The lancets are teeny tiny, and you can dial the “strength” of the puncture - I only use a 1 (it goes up to 5, for thicker, tougher skin I guess) and I barely feel it. You just drop the blood onto the test strip the the rest of the work is done for you. Highly recommend! This specific monitor does not measure glucose, though, so keep that in mind. Some keto dieters like to measure both, but I am not overly concerned with it.

I wasted about 5 strips before I figured out how to do it with the proper amount of blood and holding still for 8 seconds while it reads and making sure I don't touch the absorption end of the strip. I have a process now that works with my essential tremors and every strip works perfectly though. great product, I love the history it stores.

I followed the directions to set up the unit and could not figure out why I couldn't get it to work. I called customer service, read off some serial numbers, and they sent me a new unit in 2 days. The unit came loose (not in a box) just in the travel case. It was fine with me, but I really would have appreciated if they would have sent 5 or 10 new test strips because it took me 5 strips to determine that the unit was bad. In the end - I LOVE this unit! IT is PERFECT for the beginner keto person. I test every other morning and I have had consistent readings. I know how to count my net carbs, so I am averaging .7mmol which is a good spot for keto. I would recommend this unit even though the urine strips are cheaper, this is a better reading for me.

Quick delivery. The whole system is fantastic. This lets me know when I am in ketosis and when I am about to fall out so I can correct myself and examine my diet. I love the quickness of the reading and how little blood it needs for a reading.

The strips are a little more pricey compared to other brands, but i have had zero problems with them and the accuracy. Always shipped the next day. I've been in ketosis since Oct. 2019, and started using these strips three months ago. The accuracy and easy to use monitor has helped me so much in my keto journey!

This unit is easy to use. I purchased a similar unit but sent it back because, it was cheaply made. The screen on this init is large and thus easy to read I am VERY satisfied with this Blood Keytone Reader.
