I have it on my cameras and they do come on. You have to go into the settings and set it. Very easy to install. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome Cameras with just one little fault *by C***Z on July 23, 2020* I have waited over a month to do this review because I wanted to be fair and give it a chance to perform. I will start off with 6 months of battery will ONLY happen if the camera is in a low traffic area with the CORRECT SETTINGS. A high traffic area like under my garage for example, (and I still have all the settings tweaked to perform optimally with still top alerts and abilities to do its job, I.E catch the bad guy or see what is happening when you are not there and that includes : motion detection on (24/7) 20 second event recordings, Its set to alert me for ppl in the day and ALL motion at night. The Following Camera preformed as so. Above Garage camera was at 20% after 7weeks, to be fair this was the most used camera and was set off a lot by my GF and even myself. And I was still learning how to use them and find the best settings. Front door camera was at 38% after 7 weeks , at that rate it would probably need a charge after about the 16-18 week mark. The Backyard camera was at 48% Obviously this camera is set off the least.. And could possibly go 5-6 months. I could actually see them going even longer if you used some of the other features that come with the devices software. (Geofencing, ect) I did notice some reviews were saying they wish this system had geofencing, I guess whenever they bought their systems that feature was not out. They have took tremendous steps from what they use to be (only know this because of what I have read) To what they are now.. I really like the system, I have 3 camera and a base station, I only have one complaint and that is I wish the batteries were easily removable and had a larger MAH.(they would last longer) But as a whole they work EXCELLENT, have NEVER missed a single event, nor failed for some stupid reason.. I am very happy with them Btw I have NO IDEA who that person was that's in the video I uploaded.
