I love Earl Grey, this is not the same flavor as what I'm used to but I love this tea too. It's more delicate than the blends I'm used. You have to make sure the water doesn't get too hot or it gets bitter. I plan to try different flavors that they offer because this tea has a beautiful flavor and you can't beat the price.

Sadaf makes a wonderful loose Earl Grey tea. This product has become a staple in my home. Depending on my preference, I can brew a strong, single cup or a pot. And, I found I can get a good second brew from the leaves (I personally don't care for the third brew as the flavor doesn't hold). Recommend storing in a airtight jar to hold the flavor. Completely worthwhile purchase.

To be honest, I was born in Russia, and tea is a big part of our culture — it’s more than just a drink, it’s a ritual. Since moving here, I’ve found it really hard to find a tea that’s truly flavorful and comforting. In my experience, cold drinks are much more popular here, so good-quality loose-leaf tea can be tough to come by. This tea completely won me over! 🌱 The aroma is rich and natural, the leaves are whole and beautifully dried — clearly high quality. ☕️ I use one full teaspoon of leaves per cup, and it’s just perfect every time. 📸 I included a photo of the package next to my hand so you can see the size — great quantity and very convenient packaging. I'm still in the beginning of my tea journey just picking through Amazon's earl grey bulk offerings and seeing what tastes great for the price, and this blend of earl grey by Sadaf caught my eye. As soon as you open the bag, you'll see a surprising number of tightly-packed leaves that while a bit small, look reasonably intact. They're not granulated/mulched like you usually find at this price point, which feels surprising given that this is undoubtedly what's considered 'grocery store' tea. As far as aroma, there's a strong bergamot scent, most likely artificial, but it personally doesn't bother me. And as far as taste goes, there's a strong flavor of black tea, and bergamot/earl grey flavor I typically look for. I would say just be careful about steeping a little too long, because this one does feel a little on the strong side and can get bitter fast, and the bergamot flavor can linger in your mouth a bit. I think of the teas I've taste, this is probably comparable to the earl grey that brand Ahmad sells, but I'd say Sadaf is considerably better and higher quality. And while Ahmad isn't bad, I think this would overall be the better choice because you get better quality leaves (Ahmad's leaves are more broken and mulched) and I think the flavor is better in this Sadaf blend. If you don't mind artificial bergamot taste/scents, and just want a strong tea to sip down, I think Sadaf is a great budget option.

In my 50+ years of drinking hot tea, I have avoided Earl grey with every ounce of my being. I stuck with Cleyon OPA and was perfectly happy. Then I decided that as a much older tea drinker, it may be good to at least give Earl grey another try. I purchased my first box of Sadaf Earl Grey and took my first taste.....black, no sugar or milk, and I was so surprised! It was so good. It has become my morning tea since my purchase. I liked it so much I ordered a second box for backup. This is a tea I don't want to run out of, especially being in rural Utah 😉
