I had occasion recently to replace one of my headlamp bulbs not working when I checked over my car after getting it out of my garage, so consuming my then spare. These headlamp bulbs were purchased from Amazon as spares for the future, one in my car & the other in my garage. so not yet put into regular use. I simply checked that the one which is to be carried in my car worked when I temporarily connected it - it did.
