I bought it in November and it has been running 24/7 for3 months now, in freezing temperatures. it stopped pumping one time because it had debris wrapped around the motor shaft. It was very easy to disassemble to clean, it also goes back together quite easily. I would highly recommend this pump for small applications. i use it to keep a small pond from freezing. the pond is about the size of a kids plastic swimming pool. It keeps about a 1foot area clear of ice...You may be able to keep a bigger area clear depending on how you hook up the discharge tube. The 1 foot is sufficient for my needs so i didn't try anything else. If your looking to keep a really large are clear, you would have to use a bigger pump. Great product... Review: Flimsy outlet, but good pump. - Works great for my balcony drip irrigation system. Only complaint I have is that the outlet tube is a little flimsy.
