How would I connect this to the speaker level output of my amp? Can it be done in parallel?

I would not, the levels would be too high. I configured mine as a passthrough from my source (a turntable) before the amp and speakers. I imagine there is a way to connect it to the amp, but you would need to make additional circuits to either cut the power level going into the meters, or get a tap off your amp before the amplification circuit. I am guessing about that though.

What is the power consumption in mA hours? Is it minimal?

With a 12 VDC supply to the circuit board and both meter back lights illuminated, I measure a current draw of 7 mA.

Are you able to provide full mechanical and electrical details for both the meters and the PCB?

H33l, no. I had to search for the diagram. Found it on a non-english site.

Can you run (or has anyone tried) putting a POT on the lighting circuit to control the brightness?

So there are already pots on the lighting circuit to control the brightness, they're small smt ones, but you should be able to solder wires and change where the pot is
