Plucking technique and observer bias can cause all sorts of different observations (accuracy/inaccuracy) but intonation of Em7sus4 chords are definitely averages of harmonic content, I'm not sure it's possible to decide on a specific frequency (at a resolution of .02 cents) when the instrument is moving sympathetically to other pitches. The Polyphonic feature is really for when you don't have time to tune it note by note but you need to have the confidence that you'll be close enough not to come across as deaf to your own sound. **Q: Is the auto off defeatable? A few minutes is unacceptable. I need it to stay on.** A: I’m not sure what you’re using it for, but if your stringed instrument won’t stay in tune for more than a few minutes, you might need a more robust instrument.
