There have been some "oh no" moments on furniture, and this product has truly made the difference between still liking our large sectional sofa versus being forced to buy a new one. Our sofa is made of a durable, high-quality fabric which it seems (from photos shared among animal lovers on various social media) that many families with much-loved pets also have. I mention that because it is possible that other fabrics might not clean up quite so perfectly. However, even on area rugs, bedding, towels (intended to prevent pet accidents on furniture), etc., we have never noticed this product affecting the color.
