Usage Test relay module: connect the relay module VCC to 5V, GND to ground, IN to GND, the relay will jump, and when IN is suspended, the relay will resume, so repeatedly, you can hear the relay "Kaka" sound. Test the soil moisture sensor module: Connect the fork probe and transmitter module with two DuPont wires. The transmitter module VCC is connected to 5V, GND is grounded. When the power is on, the red power light is always on, and the green (blue) light is flashing once. The fork probe is used. Directly inserted into the water, the green (blue) color indicator light is on. The red line of the water pump is connected to 5V, the black line is grounded, the pump works, pay attention to the test for 1 second, and it is not allowed to work in the air for a long time. Connect the system, powere on and if the pump has been working, it is correct. Worked for what I needed. Review: This took longer to put together than I expected. There are basically no instructions, and some of the writing on the relay is in Chinese, and unfortunately I can't read Chinese. So I had to search to figure out which the NO COM and NC ports were. I added a pic of the translation in case it helps someone else. The wires are extremely thin and they break easily while trying to make connections. This would have been nicer to put together if the pump wires were stripped back a little more to begin with. Turns out the wiring diagram for this is wrong. If you connect the pump's red wire to the "NO" aka Normally On port on the relay, as shown in the description picture, the pump will run when the sensor reads wet, and turn off when it reads dry. Attaching the wire to the "NC" aka Normally Closed port instead makes it work as expected. The probe doesn’t work, and the usb wire serves no purpose? I replaced the probe with a better option and it works fine now. I’d say this package deal is worth 5 bucks as a mess with it and then throw it away kinda thing.
