**Q: How far off the ground are the protective rails ?**
A: I don’t have it anymore to give accurate measurements but I believe it’s about foot and half. It worked well for newborns.

A: Some type of high grade plastic, I absolutely love the box I have 2 of them easy to clean just wipe down, they are pricey but without a doubt worth it
