The Cotton Carrier is stable, takes weight of the camera and 600mm lens off my neck and with it the camera is quick and easy to access with a backup safety strap. Their solution for binoculars is a worse than hanging them from my neck. A velcro strap holds the attachment for the carrier to the binoculars since most binoculars done have threads for a mounting screw like cameras. Although it has a safety staple it's not as secure as I'd like. It also messes with the ergonomics of the binoculars. Even the mounting pad uses velcro.
