Mud Pie Turtle Paper Towel Holder

I looove this paper towel holder! It makes me smile and I think it’s beautiful. This is so well made, and it’s like having a small piece of art on your counter top. The paper towels fit perfectly and there are little pads on the bottom too.

I love this --- it looks so cute on the kitchen counter and is very sturdy. It arrived a day or two early, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately the mango wood turtle shell fell off during shipping, but I was able to glue it back on and it's good as new. This should have been shipped in a box to protect it better instead of a padded envelope. But all in all, I'm happy with it!

Better in person than expected. Very well & done well made. Perfect tasteful way to add a dash of tropical flair to the kitchen. You will not be disappointed. Great gift.

I purchased this paper towel holder for use in my beach house that has a nautical theme. The overall look of this paper towel holder is stunning - it looks very expensive, even though it was reasonably priced. The base is a nice wood and is weighted well to keep the holder from falling over - even in my house! The Sea Horse decoration looks like aged metal and is very detailed - again it looks very expensive. I have received so many compliments on it from friends and family. It goes well with my nautical decor without looking cheap or kitchy. I gave it four stars versus five because the base pole and the design are not separated enough to allow for a normal size paper towel roll to spin freely. You have to use about 20 paper towels before the whole roll will spin freely. I have tried several different brands of paper towel and have the same issue. Truth be told I am not sure if the company who made this product has a recommendation or a product they sell that would work better - I didn't do any research on that. We go through so many paper towels that it isn't that big a deal to force the first 20 loose. I do recommend this product, other than that small issue, it is a very well made and beautiful product.

It is a beautiful piece. My only complaint is that it is more for decorative purposes instead of functionality. Every paper towl roll I have tried to put on is still extremly loose and wobbly. The wood work is beautiful. If you love Mud Pie, you will definitely love this, but this is also the only product I use the least of because of the instability while trying to get a papertowels.

I love the paper towel holder, but as soon as I took it out of the packaging the turtle’s shell came unglued and fell off. I was able to get some of the old glue off and gorilla glue it back together though. For the amount of money it costs, I was disappointed that I had to fix it right off the bat. My kids didn’t even have a chance to break it, lol. On the other hand, t is sturdy and very cute.

I am so happy with purchase 💕 The sea turtle is a beautiful quality metal and his shell is real carved wood. Putting this towel holder together is just a matter of screwing in the wood dowel. Easy peasy ☺️ I highly recommend this towel holder - it adds a real beachy vibe to your kitchen!
