We ordered 4 pairs Steve Madden Nonstp. Two black and two nude in sizes 8 and 8 1/2 due to reviews of sizing being too large. They are gorgeous, simply, sexy, comfortable and we receive tons of compliments. Everyone is right. Order half size down because of the snaps. You can't adjust. Perfect classy spring shoe with just enough height. Go with everything. ### ⭐⭐⭐ The leather isn't consistent. *by A***0 on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2018* So here is the story, I bought these in blue some time last year and they were just as the reviews described soft buttery leather, cut large, with the possibility of a little stretch as real leather usually does. So while I'm usually a 9 I bought the 8.5B and have never been happier just this morning I got a compliment on my blue shoes. I ordered the bone color same quality leather and great sizing but they looked orthopedic so back then went. This week I ordered the black in 8.5M with the gold heel and they were too small. So I sent them back and got the black with the brown heel and the experience isn't the same (as the blue either) the leather is pebbled not smooth, the sole isn't as cushioned and the stitching inside does look as authentic. I think they slipped me a "micky". In addition the sizing is almost a fit. I've worn them around the kitchen to see how I feel and while there is some give and I love them I'm not sure I want to keep them. ### ⭐ Not sure I actually received real Steve Madden booties *by D***H on Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2016* I already own these shoes in the tan/cognac color, which I purchased directly from the Steve Madden website. I normally wear a size 6, but after reading several online reviews I decided to order a 5.5 because it sounded like the shoe ran big. It was the right choice -- the 5.5 fit perfectly. I decided I also wanted the black color as well, but the Steve Madden site was completely sold out in that size and color, so I decided to order from Amazon. The shoes shipped very quickly, so that was fantastic, but when they arrived I discovered that the 5.5 was WAY too small. When I compared the black pair to the tan pair I already owned, the tan pair was a good 1/4 of an inch longer despite also being a size 5.5. I assumed perhaps the different colorways just ran differently size-wise, or perhaps it was just a random defect. I decided to return to black pair, since there's no way I could wear them, but in the meantime managed to find the 5.5 size in black on a different site. That pair looks and fits exactly like my tan pair.I remember reading a few reviews on the Amazon site speculating that they had received Steve Madden knock-offs instead of original shoes. I compared both black pairs together, and there are noticeable differences beyond the actual shoe length (both 5.5s, one well over 1/4 inch longer than the other). The width of the button tab slightly differs, the heel colors don't match at all, the elastic detail is different, the outer sole and insole is different, and the font on the Steve Madden label inside the shoes don't match each other. They look similar, but aren't the same.
