It needs to be expanded with examples of more of the mathematical functions. As an example in Chapter 4 Table 4-2 several very useful mathematical functions are listed. The section discussing these functions is very brief. It would be very easy to add a few extra examples of code with plots to illustrate these functions. Trigonometric functions are barely touched. For the beginner it is nice to include plotting of e^x, ln, cos, and sin functions. I would also suggest excercises with written out coding answers be added to help the reader solidify their understanding.
