The metal is thick but not too heavy and the little sparkly bits add just the right about of glam. I've been wearing it every day for the last week or so and there's been no rubbing or wear at all along the edges, even though I've been wearing it with a watch and other bracelets too.One thing I'd point out is that it's a good idea to check it'll fit before you buy it.
