Quality Item
Good quality item which is just the job for my small kitchen. Wood is hard enough to provide a good chopping and cutting base. But not so hard that it damages the cutting edge of my knives. Treated with the oil and cream, I expect to see the board last a lot longer than me:0)

DO NOT BUY - Bad product and customer service
The chopping board cracked immediately (despite following full instructions) and customer support do not reply to any emails after multiple attempts at making me say it was my liability. DO NOT BUY

This product doesn’t have the juice groove
It’s a wonderful product but the one they sent to me doesn’t have the juice groove very disappointing.

Poor Quality - Splitting after less than a month
Less than a month after purchase product showing significant splitting. Only ever hand washed so no reason this should fail like this. Assume faulty or poorly manufactured. Very disappointed as paid a premium expecting quality

Don’t buy it, it is a waste of money. Applying Boos oil and Cream doesn’t help, the wood is cracking after just 1.5 months of not so frequent use. How convenient for the seller that the product support only lasts for 1 month after receiving it. Basically boos cream and oil is just a way to make you spend more money, it does not prevent it from cracking. Stay away.

My fourth Boos Block. I love it but I did order the wrong size. I have the 18". Thought I purchased the 20" but it arrived in PERFECT condition so I kept it. It is flawless. I only had to send one small Boos Block back once as it was practically cracked down the middle and I am certain that happened during shipping. I had ZERO problems with the return and and purchased a second just like it that I still have and use almost every day. I love my Boos Blocks and plan on getting 2 or 3 more, smaller ones and different woods for Charcuterie boards. I also have the 24" x 18" x 2 1/4 that is a cooks dream. .If you process your blocks after purchase the way any good wood should be treated you will find Boos Blocks will last you a lifetime. I will buy John Boos every day and twice on Sunday.

2nd one I have bought, medium size . Boos boards are excellent quality and will last for decades if you oil and cream them. Can be sanded when wear is excessive.

Wood broken
Been using it for 1 week and cleaning it only with cold water and the wood started to crack in 7 points. Wanted to share the pictures but don't have the option on my phone.
