Ideal for creating realistic wounds, bruises, burns, and other special effects, this palette is activated with isopropyl alcohol for a long-lasting, sweat-proof finish. Suitable for all skin types and compatible with prosthetics, it’s a must-have for film, stage, cosplay, and Halloween makeup artists seeking durable, vibrant results. ## Description desertcart.com : Narrative Cosmetics FX 12-Color Alcohol-Activated Makeup Palette | Waterproof SFX Face & Body Paint for Wounds, Bruises & Burns | Professional Stage, Film, Halloween & Cosplay Makeup : Beauty & Personal Care ## Features - 12 WATERPROOF ALCOHOL-ACTIVATED COLORS: Prime Red, Prime Green, Prime Blue, Prime Black, Prime White, Prime Yellow, Purple, Rust Orange, Mauve, Bruise Tone, Fresh Blood, and Aged Blood. Use these highly pigmented colors to create realistic wounds, bruises, burns, cuts, scrapes, scabs, and SFX injury effects for film, stage, Halloween, cosplay, and haunted house productions. Once activated and dried, the makeup is completely waterproof, sweat-proof, and transfer-proof. - COLORS LOOK DRY β€” THIS IS NORMAL: The pans will appear dry, cracked, or partially full when you open the palette. This does NOT mean the product is used, expired, or defective β€” this is how all alcohol-activated makeup looks before activation. Add 2–3 drops of 99% isopropyl alcohol directly into each pan, let it soak for several seconds until the surface looks creamy, then apply with a brush or sponge. Each pan contains highly concentrated pigment that lasts for dozens of applications. - HOW TO GET THE BEST RESULTS: Let the alcohol fully saturate the pan before applying β€” rushing this step is the #1 mistake beginners make. Start with a thin layer and build opacity gradually. For mixing colors on skin, work quickly before the first layer dries. Once dry on skin, the color locks in and won't budge. For maximum vibrancy on darker skin tones, apply a white base layer first, then layer your colors on top. - PROFESSIONAL SFX PALETTE FOR FILM, STAGE & COSPLAY: Used by haunted trail actors, cosplayers, film students, and SFX artists. Create realistic bruises at every healing stage, open wounds, zombie rot, burn effects, alien characters, and creature makeup. A little goes a long way β€” one palette can last years of regular use. Works on skin and over prosthetics, liquid latex, and scar wax. Pair with NC Scar Wax for raised wounds or NC Flesh Tone palettes for skin-matching. - REMOVAL & CARE: Remove with 99% isopropyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate (gentler for sensitive skin), or NC Alcohol-Free Makeup Remover. Do NOT try to remove with just water β€” alcohol-activated makeup requires an alcohol-based or oil-based remover. Cruelty-free and vegetarian. Store palette closed when not in use. If colors dry out between sessions, simply add a few drops of alcohol to rehydrate β€” they'll perform like new. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07WMQ59YW | | Best Sellers Rank | #279,516 in Beauty & Personal Care ( See Top 100 in Beauty & Personal Care ) #590 in Makeup Palettes | | Brand | Narrative Cosmetics | | Brand Name | Narrative Cosmetics | | Color | Multicolor | | Container Type | Palette | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 263 Reviews | | Item Form | Makeup Palette | | Item Weight | 0.26 kg | | Manufacturer | Narrative Cosmetics | | Manufacturer Part Number | FX-ALCOHOL-PALETTE | | Model Number | FX-ALCOHOL-PALETTE | | Package Information | Palette | | Package Type Name | Palette | | Product Benefits | Provides vibrant and long-lasting body paint for performance arts and cosplay | | Skin Type | All | | UPC | 810012600019 | | Unit Count | 12 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Narrative Cosmetics - **Color:** Multicolor - **Item Form:** Makeup Palette - **Item Weight:** 0.26 kg - **Package Information:** Palette ## Images ![FX Alcohol Activated 12 Colors Makeup Palette - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61WfSfoEiwL.jpg) ![FX Alcohol Activated 12 Colors Makeup Palette - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81KY391sGlL.jpg) ![FX Alcohol Activated 12 Colors Makeup Palette - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hhXEzepNL.jpg) ![FX Alcohol Activated 12 Colors Makeup Palette - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Jyq+b4OvL.jpg) ![FX Alcohol Activated 12 Colors Makeup Palette - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ZzM79SHML.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What brushes would work well with this product?
