I am always a 9.5 in everything and they were too big. I found a 9 online since amazon didn't have them in stock. At first they felt too tight but after wearing them for a day they fit just right.I've been at my job for almost 10 years and buy a new pair of boots almost yearly.. so I've had almost every single brand. I've never been happy enough with one to buy another. Hopefully this will be that boot.These boots are very very light with the composite toe.. and very comfortable. I will buy these again, knowing full well break in sucks cuz how nice they are after. Soles seem very durable. Usually any boot that is puncture resistant, safety toe and comfortable is very soft soled and the railroad ballast destroys them (5-10 miles a day), these are holding up very well. Irish Setter (3 months) and Timberland Pro (less than 30 days and was able to return they fell apart so fast) were my last two pair my company would split with me. Bought these in my own and will continue to do so. Air pocket in the heal is phenomenal!
