Also, know this isn’t the question but FWIW, I’m using it with my Mac PowerBook as a "Time machine" back up, but I had to format it with the disk utility first. **Q: Could i use a wd usb-c cable with this?** A: It appears the My Passport and the My Passport Ultra take you to the same Questions and Reviews. Amazon seem to do this a lot and need to fix it. The Ultra supports USB-C (and seems to be more expensive). Check before you click to buy. One last thing, it's not worth paying more for the Mac versions, though you may need to reformat. **Q: I've a pc and a mac...can i format it in 2 partitions ? one mac formatted and another windows pc formatted ?** A: This should be possible, though if you want to use the drive with both mac and windows devices you would be better off formatting the partition in exFAT format, which allows both OSX and Windows read and write access. Still not confident to delete stuff held online ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plenty of storage for little money *by M***N on 4 June 2021* I purchased this external drive as my existing 1tb one was getting a bit full. Although I had only purchased my WD 1tb drive 2 years earlier, the cost of the equivalent 4tb drive was almost identical. It is amazing how the cost of storage has come down over the past few years. My first pc purchased in 1997 had an 8gb capacity. It was straightforward to set up with the software required already stored on the drive itself and it is easy to use. To date I have experienced no technical issues with it and have already started transferring files from my old drive without encountering any problems.
