The first time I removed it from the storage/carry bag, I noticed two major issues: (1) the perforations around the circumference of the umbrella had ripped, leaving a hole and (2) the photo of the umbrella here on Amazon appears to show a black umbrella with a black floral pattern, but it is actually navy. Very disappointed. Other than that, did it work to keep rain off? So-so. Not much better than a non-inverted umbrella. The handle also makes it hard to hook over the edge of window sills (like in my office) or edges of tables (like when you go out for lunch when it is rainy during the work day). ### ⭐⭐⭐ Broke after 7 months of regular wear and tear. *by G***L on December 16, 2017* While I wish I could continue to RAVE about this umbrella about the beautiful color selections and unique, thoughtful funtionality (as I have for the last 7 months)-- none of that matters if the umbrella breaks after only 7 months of regular wear and tear. Now when I open it, it won't lock open; I literally ran to my car in a rainstorm with my hair holding the umbrella open over my head. $20 isn't crazy expensive but it should DEFINITELY last longer!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great design, somewhat portable *by K***R on June 11, 2017* This umbrella's design is really useful for entering doors without causing a mess, and for allowing it to stand for drip drying (remember to dump out the water before bringing it inside!). The reverse orientation and double layer canopy make it bounce back easily from being blown out by the wind, and the C-shaped handle allows a good grip in various conditions. It is a bit large for commuter use in a backpack or laptop bag and so probably needs to be carried separately.
