On low-voltage boxes I realized there are 4 small holes that you're supposed to use and then connect the 4 dots with a straight edge. I found this to be difficult and doesn't come out very well. If you cut a lot of single and 2 gang old work boxes you need this tool in your bag. Hands down a huge help and time saver. My only complaint is when used on a white wall, the black rubber on the back to pad the wall, can actually put a light streak in the wall if you slide it around.
