These definitely cut cleanly. As to whether you would prefer this clipper or another style of clipper, that depends on your personal preference in styles of clippers. I find this syle to be comfortable for both fingernails and toenails.

I did not get a discount for a good review. These are some of the best toenail clippers I have ever used. My wife's nails are extremely hard and they are very mis-shapened. Also, I have arthritis in my dominant hand and have minimal strength. I am now able to cut her toenails with relative ease. They are slightly curved allowing a clean cut every time. I don't know how durable they are but I've used them for several weeks and they are still sharp.
