Review: This worked for my Alesis Command right out of the box. - I did not know if it would work for my application or not. I have the Alesis Command module. I assume it works using a variable resistor, and I anticipated having to modify it to get it to work within the parameters required by the Command module. I measured the resistance on the Alesis Hi-Hat foot control and compared it with the resistance range I got with the Goedrum GHC-AN Electronic Hi-Hat Controller and they were similar but not exact (the Alesis completely disconnects on a hard close, the Goedrum still has a slight resistance when it's completely depressed), so I connected it to my Command Module to try it out, and it worked perfectly. I thought I might have to adjust the trigger settings, but no, it just worked like it was made for this module. That was a pleasant surprise. No two resistors are the same, so your results may vary. Good luck!
Review: Have an Alesis DM10 Mark II and debating getting it? Don't! JUST BUY IT!!! - This item works awesome, and got here in a short amount of time! I have an Alesis DM10 MarkII system. The pedal that it comes with leaves A LOT to be desired. I first looked for the X Hi Hat from Alesis and found it's no longer for sale which bummed me out. A friend then said I should give this a shot. He wanted one but hadn't tested it. I thought for the price, why not give it a try. I'm SO GLAD I did. Thankfully I have a very nice DW HiHat stand/pedal for my acoustic set. This thing has all the ranges, and even splashes well. Works especially well with Superior Drummer 3 THANKS GOEDRUM!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this ghc-an work with a "real" hi hat stand and an alesis nitro mesh control module that is a couple years old? if so what special settings, any?**
A: Yes it will, I am currently using it on my nitro mesh kit

**Q: Will this one work with ddrum ddti?**
A: Not sure I know it works with my alesis module but I know it's not compatible with roland and Yamaha modules you can reach out to goedrum they're pretty good about answering questions

**Q: Will this work with a Roland TD-4 module?**
A: I’m not 100% but I think it will work, it’s a very basic trigger. I wouldn’t recommend it though, the quality is low and it doesn’t function very well.

**Q: I hope somebody give me some information i’m looking to get this call drum adapter for my high has stand for my crimson module has the x hat option on**
A: I bought one for my Alesis Strike kit. It's better than the one that came with the kit IMO. A definite upgrade, but not the ultimate fix. Works great for me.

### ⭐⭐ Seems to work for other people, but mine did not
*by A***G on March 1, 2021*

I really want to like this product but the unit I received doesn't cut it. I'm using with an alesis nitro. I tried both with just internal sounds and with SSD 5.5, and tried adjusting the sensitivity settings on the module. Nothing worked. It only registers about half of the time I press the hi hat, and never registers in the midi channel for fully open, even if I have the hat off so there is no pressure on the unit's pressure sensor that pushes in when you close the hat. It's a great idea and I'd much rather use the hh pedal than the stupid alesis one, but the one I received was barely functional
