I was pleasantly surprised to find this was a full size remote, and not a mini. The buttons are in a slightly different spot, but this isn't a problem for me. I really like the bright color, it makes it easy to find. It seems to work very well. I took it out of the box and synced it using the red button in the battery case. While the remote lights were flashing, I pressed the red sync button on the front of the wii. Works like a charm. My son (7) also really likes the bright colors and he has no problems using this remote.
