## Description

Bifacial flexible solar panel is a kind of new and creative solar panel in the solar industry. It is made of monocrystalline bifacial solar cells which can generate power from both sides. It is an interesting thing that both sides of the flexible solar panel can generate power and it is umimaginable that both sides(front and back) can even generate almost the same power, quite different from conventional solar panels, which generate power only from the front side of the panel.Imagine that you just pay for 1 panel, but it seems that you get a “twin” panel: both sides look like a whole solar panel. How much the extra power generated depends on the reflective side from the backside. We suggest you use white shinny surface /board to reflect the sunlight so that the solar panel can absorb more sunlight to generate more power. The following is the extra power generated based on different bases: Soil: 14.3% Sand:15.5% Grassland:15.4% Cement: 19.6% White lacquer:27.3% This kind of flexible solar panel is very lightweight and portable and you can easilytake it anywhere, suitable for outdoor activity, camping etc. It can be widely used on RV, camper, boat, marine or solar power system kit. The cell efficiency can be up to 22% and is continuing to improve on annual basis, representing the highest efficiency flexible solar panel in the market. ,Stable Power Performance: The power loss is less than 3% in 10 years, far better than conventional solar panels' average of 10%.The bifacial solar panel is sensitive to dim light in cloudy or rainy days, so the overall power generated is better than competitors'. Good Bendability: because of special structure of original bifacial solar cell, this kind of cell is best suitable for the bifacial flexible solar panel.Such bifacial flexible solar panels have excellent performance in hot or cold temperature

Review: "Best" solar panel I've purchased too date. Beats all of em' hands down! - A year on and as good as off the showroom floor. Highest out-put, low light; no problem. Just great...
Review: Cells crack easily when left in the sun! - I can't think of a good application for this solar panel because the flexible plastic holding the cells becomes very flexible when left in the sun. I had the product about 3 months now and it went from producing 80 watts to 8 watts. This is most likely due to cracks in the cells when the panel got flexed. Unless you had a fixed location for this where it wasn't going to move against a window or flat surface I can't recommend buying this product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excited about the possibilities of a bifacial panel
*by M***S on June 27, 2021*

I received the panel 6/26 and writing this review on 6/27 and excited about the possibilities but have a lot of concerns. What lead to this purchase: I have hunting property that my camper sits on and is completely off grid. Due to trees all around it roof top panels are not practical so I have 4 traditional 50w panels on 4 aluminum frames that have been serving me quite well. However, due to a rainy season the trees have gotten quite taller which requires me to move the panels periodically with the suns daily path which is a bit of a pain. Move one 2" the next 2" and so on. As a result, I've been researching 2 100w flexible panels as a potential solution and stumbled on this bifacial panel which got me all kinds of excited about the possibilities. So I ordered it without doing any research on how they work. A bit concerned that I may have jumped the gun because there is a lot I cannot verify. PRO'S Shipping - Product was well packaged with a foam like padding. Both sides of the panel have a protective film that should be removed before using for optimal input. Composition and Flexibility - The bifacial solar cells are sandwiched between 2 pieces of thin plexiglass like material. This panel is flexible but if you are looking for something you can fold in half or roll this is not it. Its flexibility is around +/- 30 degrees or so but that is just to my unskilled eye. Weight and Installation - It is amazing how light weight this is in comparison to just one 50w aluminum framed panel and the install is as simple as your knowledge of MC4 connections. Use/Mounting - This panel can be leaned against any surface and also has 4 grommets in each corner (much like tarps do) which should make fastening quick and simple. CONs Value – This was a bit pricey to me and there is really nothing to compare apples to apples. Flexible "bifacial" panels do not function the same as other flexible panels so it isn't fair to even place them in the same category. I will also say I am a bit irritated that this panel was ordered 4 days ago and it is cheaper today as I write this review than it was then. No Specs - Traditional panels have labels on the back of them that state specific performance parameters that can be measured to under ideal standard test conditions such as VOC, PMAX, ISC etc. This panel has nothing other than it states “Bifacial Solar Panel Watt: 100W Volt: 22V” and its size. That is not very useful when trying to validate whether or not the panel is performing to spec. THE FOLLOWING ARE GENERAL CONCERNS: Is it really 100Ws? - Since bifacial solar panels still appear to be uncharted territory for the average amazon consumer who knows. I am not sure it is fair to claim 100w when it cannot be verified to a defined measurement, especially when to achieve it certain conditions must be met. I am referring to the solar cells on the backside and how light reflects and energy is absorbed back to them. Maybe a claim of 75-80w with the capability of achieving 100w under optimal conditions would be a more appropriate. Especially since it cannot be defined what the optimal conditions even are and how the curvature impacts light absorption. My plans are to build a frame where I can slip in some reflective insulation in the back to help optimize the light bouncing back but this is still in the brainstorming phase. Panel Composition - The plexiglass appears to be thicker on the back side of the panel (where the connectors/junction box is) than the front. Maybe this is by deaign? Could this potentially impact energy absorption? Nothing proving it would just be thinking out loud. Also there doesn’t appear to be any protection around the edges. I have concerns on how it will fair in various conditions such as rain/heat and if it will delaminate. No middle grommet on the edge - this would make the panel more secure to fasten for those of us who wish to mount it on a portable frame - which I plan to do. Warranty of 5yrs - This tells me flexible panels are not nearly as durable/reliable as traditional ones which typically have 25yr ones. Might be prudent to make the additional purchase of a warranty plan if it is offered. Wish I had done so myself. A note to the reseller - that crazy photoshopped image showing a panel almost half the size of a tractor trailer truck sitting on the roof of the truck. I get where your going with application but it could really be taken out of context by potential purchasers. Just an FYI to folks reading, this panel is 33.5” x 26” Yep that’s a whole lot of concerns but my hope is as I become more familiar with bifacial panels I can come back around and erase some of them. Thanks for reading!
