I have a few bands already, and after experimenting with them I realized I really like them and they're super useful and flexible I started searching high and low for a quality band set. The problem is, as a bodybuilder, your average 5,10, and 20lb bands are NOT enough. This is a problem. So the search began. I searched high, I searched low. I finally stumbled upon this set. After lots of reading, analyzing and comparison I decided to do it. I was experiencing some issues with shipping so I messaged the seller. They were VERY responsive, they gave me their word and they 100% followed through with what they said they would do. This is a huge A++ for me Next, they finally arrived! Wow they are nice. I wouldn't say they are "gym quality".. and by that, I mean if they were put in a gym I do not feel they could survive 100+ different blokes messing with them every day, all day long. BUT, with that said.. for an individual (or 2) working out at home, they are 100% perfect. They are just the right length, they offer a ton of different weights (and you can combine multiple weights on the handles to equate to 225lbs total!!), and not only do they offer 2 handles.. but they offer 2 ankle pieces (which can also be worn on the wrists) and 2 pieces you stick on top of or under a door frame to give you a solid backing. The quality of the bands is high.. all of the bands come with a sheathing over them which prevents you from getting hurt in the event that one breaks (ya.. 50lbs of energy in a rubber band is VERY bad news otherwise..), they are all heat shrink-wrapped on the ends of the connectors and the connectors all seem sturdy. I'm 1,000% happy with this set and let me tell you.. the weight ratings are real. I haven't found a way to actually measure them, but as a bodybuilder, using the 50lb band alone really put a hurting on...
