With roots in the Los Angeles country and folk-rock scenes, Linda Ronstadt became one of the most popular interpretive singers of the '70s, earning a string of platinum-selling albums and Top 40 singles. I purchased this on CD so that I could rip it to digital and listen on my phone. Previously, I've only had the LP version.Although I'm typically more inclined to listen to singer/songwriters who are instrumentalists, Linda Ronstadt is only a singer, not a songwriter or an instrumentalist. However, she took mostly older songs from the 1950s and 60s and brought them to life in a way that the original artists never dreamed of. Every song on this album is wonderful.And, hey, Sinatra was "only" a vocalists, too.

Love Linda Ronstadt. Collecting all of her albums on CD. Great to have CD, however; this CD packaging contains no liner notes, credits and/or lyrics.
