Original Universal Sandalen Herren

These sandals deserve a round of applause, or maybe a tiny foot massage, because somehow these sandals survive everything my husband throws at them. From weekend errands to impromptu hikes, and even a few “testing the limits of durability” stunts around the yard, they stay comfortable, supportive, and remarkably unbattered. What sets these sandals apart from others on Amazon is the real-world perspective: these sandals are like the unsung heroes of footwear. My husband has a tendency to forget shoes exist, leaving them on the porch, in the car, or occasionally on top of the dog (don’t ask). Yet, these sandals shrug it off like seasoned veterans. The straps hold firm, the footbed cushions like a tiny mattress for your toes, and the soles grip well enough to keep him from sliding into embarrassment, or the nearest puddle. If you want sandals that blend durability, comfort, and a subtle “I’ve got your back, feet” attitude, these are a must-have. They’re more than shoes. They’re small black miracles that handle life’s adventures (and husband-induced chaos) with style intact.

I wear these pretty much every day, and they are quite nice. They replaced a pair of wal-mart sandals that I liked so much I kept wearing them after I wore a hole through one of the soles. (So of course they discontinued the model!) These fit quite well. I generally wear a men's 12 in sandals, and these are right in line with that. I have pretty flat arches, and these are just right, which is to say not much arch support. I've been wearing them daily for about 7 months, and have probably walked at least 2 miles every day in them, and there is still plenty of tread left on the soles. So they seem quite durable. The velcro in the straps still holds well, but there is a little fraying in places. Also one minor complaint: there is a little cloth part on the end of the straps which seems like it would be a tab to make it easy to grab the end...but the velcro extends onto the cloth part...so the end result is it actually makes it even harder to undo the straps. It's become a bit easier over time, and not a huge deal. Much better than having them come undone too easily.

Better than a cheap flip flop.

I bought a pair of these 'Teva Original Universal Sandals' over eight (8) years ago and just bought my second pair to replace them. These are my 'go-to' sandals for everything - they are super lightweight and look good with any kind of outdoor clothing and are good for every outdoor activity. I wear them throughout the summer each year and often wear them all day long - whether walking or hiking, or on the beach, in the ocean, at the pool, and in lakes and rivers. This is a great quality product that really lasts. The sizes run a bit bigger than other US shoes, so I bought one size smaller for my new purchase this year.

This is a ~six-year review… As you could see from the video clip I’ve included, these have held up extremely well! Theres barely a stitch missing from the straps, the treads are not delaminating, and the tread is barely worn. As for use, I’ve worn these most of the warmer seasons in just about all situations where I don’t *need* to have close-toed shoes on. Even into the cooler months I’ll wear them with or without socks! They’re good for me on walks or hikes up to my personal maximum of ~10 miles. Your feet will actually get very dirty because you’ll be wearing them all over the place collecting road, off road, and sidewalk dirt! Cleaning of the sandals is easy, I’ll wipe them clean with a Clorox wipe and then soak them in Lysol and then let them sit out in the sun for a while… sometimes for a couple of Days. I have another pair that I rotate / wear when the other is either being cleaned or left elsewhere. Title of product says “urban sandal” but you can easily wear these on many easier hiking trails with zero issues. Go a half size up if you want a bit more toe protection, but dont trip!

these seem alright, I like that they’re lightweight. they feel like thicker versions of the $1 flip flops you get at the supermarket. but these run big. I wear a size 13 and there was a lot of extra material both in front of my toes and behind my heels. can’t say if they’re good for walking or water activities like I had intended since I just tried them on, took them off and initiated a return. they don’t really have arch support but I tend to like more flat shoes. I’d probably try 1 size down from what you normally wear if you have large feet.

Soft upper sole and lightweight. Getting used to the toe strap but excellent for walking and driving while maintaining secured

Bought it for a trip to Thailand. Very comfortable to walk in, required no break in period. However, after a few days of walking all day, my feet did show sign of starting to blister, but at that point you can switch to shoes for a day or two, or wear a pair of socks. Planning to wear while camping when the weather warms up a little.
