## Description

Gaia Double Helix rod is a rich green that strikes from blues to greens and creams. Heavy reduction can yield red to a metallic iridescence.The incredible color combinations in Double Helix glass have the ability to "strike" in the reducing flame, giving the look of borosilicate glass but in 104 COE. Main image shows an example of the glass fired, additional image shows rod unfired. Rods about 12" long, thickness varies from 3-4mm. 1/4 lb Bundle. 104 COE. Projects created by artist Amy Kuczewski of Torch by Night Studio using Double Helix rods.
