It found my Visio TV instantly. After reading the instructions I did perform a more detailed search for a better fit that enabled the AV Input button to work better. This was one of the easiest and so far best functioning remotes I've had. The seller described the product accurately and the box was appropriate in size and shape. I do wish there was a notice of how many and what type of batteries were needed on the Amazon posting (if it was there I overlooked it) so that I could have had the correct size on hand to immediately enjoy my remote.The remote has larger, simplified buttons which are easy to see and easy to push with my older, larger fingers. We haven't dropped it yet so I cannot attest to its durability. I like the fact that you don't have to program it. I like the fact that there aren't a ton of useless buttons that will never be used. But, the buttons don't work and you'd better have it aimed directly at the TV. This was purchased for my 90 year old mother. She tried to get channel 37. She pushed the 3, but the 7 wasn't having it!
