My students can read the leveled passages and work on fluency of these very important, need to know words. Review: Good follow up to other workbook - I did Teach Your Child to Read in 100 easy lessons and the structured lessons each day worked well for us. This was a good follow up to that. It's much shorter and we do 1/2 lesson per day (when we aren't skipping days). It's designed for a classroom but works well enough for us and we go at our own pace. Only 20 lessons. Each lesson includes a short story. The short stories each have a little picture with them and includes some brief activities associated with the story. This is for the 1st grade level. The second grade one doesn't have pictures which disappointed my son.
