Cheese Sauce, 1 Box of 3 Pouches Original, 12 oz

Velveeta, you have created something wonderful, and I have a serious love-hate relationship with it. These cheese sauce pouches are delicious and incredibly convenient. I use them to upgrade a bowl of shells or add some cheesy goodness to my rice bowls, and they work beautifully for both. The problem? THERE ISN'T ENOUGH! Each pouch only gives me enough for about one or two bowls, which means I'm going through them way faster than I'd like. One box contains three pouches, and somehow that entire box is gone in just three days. How am I supposed to enjoy my cheesy rice bowls throughout the week when I'm running out at this rate? The flavor is exactly what I expect from Velveeta: creamy, cheesy, and delicious. I love how easy it is to add to a meal without having to make a whole cheese sauce from scratch. It's a fantastic way to make simple, everyday food taste so much better. But Velveeta, PLEASE GIVE ME MORE! Bigger pouches, more pouches per box, or some kind of bulk option would be amazing. I love this product, but I hate how quickly I run out of it. I'll happily keep buying it, but my wallet and my rice bowls would appreciate a larger supply!

Man does this stuff rock. You can make exactly the amount you want and you can have fun with different pastas.

Has a lot of strong cheese taste so goes a long way. Cheesier than solid Velveeta I think. I use in grits. Would be best in pasta dishes rather than say grilled cheese.

love this for my mac and it’s always the perfect amount- cheaper than the store and shows up right to ya door. can’t beat it!

I agree with the other reviewers that said this is salty. I think it’s very salty with the Velveeta flavor lurking just beneath the surface. It was good, just too salty. I used it on elbows for mac & cheese, so maybe if I’d dressed it up for a dip or something it’d be better.

I have ordered this multiple times. My youngest son LOVES the microwave velveeta Mac n cheese and this allows him to use a regular box of macaroni noodles to make Mac and cheese. It tastes exactly the same and is cheaper than buying whole boxes or the microwavable ones. He usually uses one packet per 1 cup of pasta and says it is the perfect amount of cheesiness. It mixes the same as the boxed Mac and cheese does and tastes great. It is a product that is higher in sodium, but he doesn't eat it every day and it encourages him to make his own lunch (he is homeschooled). He has also gotten creative with it and has come up with other ideas for meals using these cheese packets. I have not seen them in the store (but then again I haven't really looked) but will keep ordering them!

This is a bland, except for the overwhelming saltiness, sauce which is slick with grease and overall, pretty dismal. In USA Kraft packages this with shell pasta and maybe that makes it better. Personally, I have always found shell pasta to be a waste of time unless you have a very rich, creamy sauce or in the case of the super large shells, you stuff them. I just boiled up some elbow macaroni, poured the sauce over it and smothered it in black pepper. I have fond memories of the long banned Velveeta cheese blocks from my v young childhood. Those were the days: your block of over processed cheese sat encased in foil and a yellow cardboard box on the shelves of your local Cash and Carry (precursor of the supermarket). Kraft cheese plain sat in a blue box. In my adolescent years I developed an unhealthy penchant for Kraft Mac and cheese deluxe. This had a tin of thick lurid coloured sauce. If you’d told me it was full of nuclear waste I’d have continued to eat it. I continued to eat it until the Australian government quite rightly withdrew it from the market. You can get it from Amazon US, albeit at prodigious expense. They also have variants like White Cheddar. I am embarrassed to say that one of the few petitions I have donated actual money to is one to allow the deluxe stuff back into the country but only of course for consenting adults who are past their biological usefulness. There are a number of docos about this history of the commercialisation of this sauce on You Tube if you’re interested. Anyhow I thought that this might be an alternative to the mac and cheese, but it’s not.

So glad I can get this in UK. I have one mexican dip i make with it and everyone loves it.

Husband loves this stuff, but a tad expensive.

Velveeta cheese as a sauce. Really good for adding to your Mac and cheese sauce to give that American cheese flavour. Nice flavour and adds a nice colour to your sauce.
