I bought this to hold my phone to my dashboard and I'm glad I only paid $2.99 for this. It won't stick to any place on the dashboard of my van. It seemed like there was no stickiness at all even though it was sticky to the touch. My dashboard is only slightly textured but other places are smoother but it simply wouldn't stick at all. I finally tried the review mirror and it stuck there but thought maybe that was an odd place for my phone but if it worked I could live with it there.
